This black and white family portrait was taken in my studio during a week of family portrait sittings. I've known Kristen and her children for about ten years met her when her oldest went to preschool with my oldest son. I remember her youngest child when he was an infant. It's incredible to have families come into the studio and see how quickly their children are growing up. Family portrait photography is one of my favorite things to photograph. Capturing photos that can be passed down through generations is an important part of history. Leaving something for children to hold once their parents are gone is very important and I encourage all families to take time to schedule their session. I especially love doing black and white family portrait photography as I think it gives a timeless look and really pulls you into the faces of everyone involved.
